Gas Hot Water Overview

No matter which way you look at it, the Japanese are streets ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to gas continuous hot water technology. In Japan, the four leading manufacturers have expanded their operations to include Australia as part of their export plan. And Chromagen have partnered with two of them to bring you products that are the equal, if not better, than anything else on the market. The only difference is the lower price. So paying more for something no better is simply a waste of money.
5 Star Energy Rating All Eternity gas continuous hot water systems have energy ratings of 5 stars or higher. Nothing else beats them in the energy stakes. Plus, the warranty is second to none – a 10 year warranty on the heat exchanger plus 3 years on all other parts including labour means peace of mind.
Temperature pre-set models Current regulations require the maximum temperature to bathrooms be no more than 50ºC which normally means a tempering valve is required. It’s common to fit a tempering valve set at 50º leading to bathrooms with hotter water being fed to other areas like the kitchen. If you choose to install a pre-set model, you don’t need a tempering valve but be aware that the whole house will be supplied with hot water at a maximum temperature of 50ºC.
