The West Australian State Government

The West Australian State Government offers the following rebates –

 

Replacing an existing gas water heater with a gas boosted solar hot water system	$500 State rebate plus RECs
Replacing an existing gas water heater with an LP gas boosted solar hot water system where reticulated gas is not available	$700 State rebate plus RECs
Replacing an electric water heater with a natural gas boosted solar hot water system	$500 State rebate $1,000 Federal rebate* Plus RECs
Replacing an electric water heater with an LP gas boosted solar hot water system where reticulated gas is not available	$700 State rebate $1,000 Federal rebate* Plus RECs
Replacing an electric water heater with an electric boosted solar hot water system	$1,000 Federal rebate* Plus RECs
Replacing an existing gas water heater with an electric boosted solar hot water system	RECs only
Installing an electric boosted solar hot water system in a new home	RECs only
Installing a natural gas boosted solar hot water system in a new home	$500 State rebate plus RECs
Installing an LP gas boosted solar hot water system in a new home where reticulated gas is not available	$700 State rebate plus RECs
